The City of Madisonville's Engineering Department was established January 1, 1999. The City Engineer is responsible for the development, design, construction, and inspection of capital improvement projects as well as new subdivision developments within the city. The City Engineer's staff is made up of professional engineers, engineering technologists, geologists, draftsmen, and inspectors.
