The Madisonville Fire Department has a total of 58 members with 18 paid firefighters on duty 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. The Department has a total of 4 stations with a fleet of 6 Engines, one rescue, and one 102’ Aerial Platform. Madisonville Fire responds on average to over 600 emergency calls a year ranging from automobile accidents to residential and commercial structure fires.
Copies of fire reports and other standard administrative matters may be obtained during regular office hours, Monday through Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
MFD Station 1 - Located at 98 East Center St. This station was built in 1985. The main station is home to units F-8 (Ford F-550 Rescue/Command), F-16 (2000 KME 1500 GPM Pumper), F-15 (1999 KME 1500 GPM Pumper) and A-1 (1987 Grumman AerialCat 102' Platform).
MFD Station 2 - Located at 99 E. McLaughlin Ave. This station was converted from an old store to the number Two station in 1963. This is currently the home of engine F-3, a 1987 Pierce Arrow 1500 GPM Pumper.
MFD Station 3 is located just off Nebo Road at 810 Industrial Court. Station 3 is currently the home of unit F-12 (1991 Grumman 1500 GPM Pumper). This unit's nickname is "Snoopy" for its low profile cab. Also pictured is unit F-7 (1972 American LaFrance 1500 GPM Pumper) a reserve Engine. This station was constructed in 1973.
MFD Station 4 is located at 5000 Hanson Road. This station was built in 1992 and is currently the home of unit F-9 (1977 American LaFrance 1500 GPM Pumper). The Kids Fire Safety House is also located at this northside station.
